Within a hop and a skip there is Volant featuring crafts and Amish furniture shopping, Several Antiques stores within minutes of the campground. Short adventures for the whole family: Wendell August Forge, Living Animal Treasures, Harlensburg Station, Apple Castle., Glass Blowing Center and our Amish Tour Book.. The fisherman can find lots of fishing lakes and rivers within a short driving distance not to mention our own catch and release fishing lake. Golf- Mercer is ranked in the top 10 “Best Golf Towns in the USA” according to golf digest with at least 13 golf courses within 30 minutes of the campground. Mercer Raceway for you race nuts is only 3 miles away and has various events every Saturday. Several restaurants are close by that are known for good food and relaxed dining which folks come from miles away to eat at. Just 30 minutes away is a place called Tara which if you enjoy good food and are in civil war buff is a must see. Amish baked goods, ceramics, and night time hayride.
